The Knight Patrol Group is not a QSL oriented Dx Group. If you are interested in membership in order to receive QSL's from Kp members, the Kp Group is not for you. Friendship is #1, ... QSL is secondary.

We do not issue country prefixes to our call signs.

We are different than most Dx groups. Kp members for the most part have been on the 11 Meter band for many many years. The thrill of collecting QSL cards is long gone. However, Kp members will send an occasional QSL, and most will send a QSL when asked.

The most powerful capability of your radio, is the ability to make, (and keep)  many friends on the band. This can only be achieved through "QSO", and not "QSL".

    Membership Requirements

Many Dx Groups require a certain amount of countries confirmed by QSL in order to enter their group. This is their method of confirming that you are worthy of membership.

There are no "QSL" requirements to join Knight Patrol International. However, you must have at least two (2) written recommendations from Kp Members, or one (1) recommendation from a Kp Director, to enter our Group. The recommendations can be submitted by normal mail, or Email.

You will appreciate this policy once you have been accepted as a member.

    General Information

    The Kp Group was founded in 1983, by Jim Kp 76.

    Contrary to popular belief, the Kp Group is not an "American Dx Group."
           The true home of Knight Patrol is the Republic of Trinidad And Tobago West Indies.

    There are currently 650 active Kp Members.

Because of our wonderful modern technology, Kp news can be read on our website and Kp Directories can be downloaded, the KP Dx Group is absolutely free.

    Kp Flag QSL's

You are permitted to design and produce your own personalized QSL card provided it is done well.
The cost of printing QSL's and then adding U.S.A. mail costs is too expensive and not practical, however, Kp QSL's are available from headquarters with Country flags of U.S.A., Holland, England Trinidad.

        Prices:

Flag QSL's are: $15.00 for 50 QSL's (outside USA)

$15.00 for 60 QSL's (USA Members)

       Standard Kp QSL

The standard QSL is similar to the flag QSL, with the Kp Logo centered on the card, and of course no country flag. The standard Kp QSL is available at. $5.00 for 20 QSL's

$5.00 for 25 QSL's (USA Members)
